The APB-E offers a heated welding solution to bond products using our precision electric drive heated platens with controlled forces to bond materials using a solder preform ring. Sensitive parts are now taken care off with controlled forces and precision temperatures for repetitive bonding of products. This System is supplied with upper and lower stainless steel platens, the platens have a working area of 100 mm x 100 mm. Each platen houses 8 cartridge heaters and 3 thermocouples. A two stage filtered laminar flow unit is mounted on the right hand side of the system providing a continuous horizontal filtered air flow across the work surface.
